Norrhavet · Manifest

What we believe, written down.

A manifest is only useful if it tells you what we will not do, as clearly as what we will. These are the beliefs and the refusals that shape every Norrhavet engagement — read them, hold us to them.

Preamble

01Most groups own brands. We operate them — the same hands on Hasty, Fenny and Ellary, every week, against one standard.

02We don't bill hours. We move altitude — measured in revenue, speed, and the things your customers start saying without being asked.

03The group is the product. Each brand sharpens the others; what you actually hire is the depth between them.

Seven beliefs

What we are willing to be wrong about in public.

  1. I

    Craft is not a luxury.

It is the cheapest long-term contract you can sign with your customers. Anything that lowers the standard of craft to hit a quarterly number is borrowing from a future that has already arrived.

  2. II

Speed is a function of clarity, not headcount.

A senior with a clean brief and the right tools outruns a five-person team operating on guesses. We pay for clarity before we pay for capacity.

  3. III

AI is leverage, not a replacement for taste.

We use AI where it multiplies a senior — drafts, research, iteration — and keep humans where judgement decides. Anyone shipping AI output without a named person behind it is selling you a liability dressed as a service.

  4. IV

    Compounding beats campaigns.

The work that earns its keep makes next month's work easier and cheaper. If our recommendation makes you more dependent on us every quarter, we have failed the playbook.

  5. V

The team that recommends is the team that ships.

Strategy without delivery is a slide deck. Delivery without authorship is a body shop. We refuse the split that keeps every legacy agency profitable and every client frustrated.

  6. VI

    Price is a promise.

A fixed monthly fee is not a pricing tactic. It is a written agreement that we will absorb the risk of estimation rather than push it onto you in line items. If we got it wrong, that is our problem to solve.

  7. VII

Saying no is the most senior service we offer.

Half of what makes a Norrhavet engagement work is what we decline to do for you. A clear no — fast, named, with a reason — beats a polite yes that wastes a quarter.

Refusals

We will not do these things.

A manifest without refusals is a wish list. Hold us to this list — if any person on any Norrhavet engagement breaks one, write to the group and we will fix it.

  • We refuseto bill by the hour or run a metered hour bank.
  • We refuseto ship AI-generated work without a named senior accountable for every line.
  • We refuseto resell client data, run third-party retargeting, or feed any audience into ad networks we do not operate.
  • We refuseto write a proposal we would be embarrassed to read aloud to the person paying for it.
  • We refuseto keep a client engagement alive past the point where the work has stopped compounding.

Signed by

Held by the team who ship the work.

This manifest is not a marketing document. Every person in the Norrhavet group is hired against it, reviewed against it, and free to walk if the group ever drifts from it.

What does Norrhavet stand for?

Norrhavet's manifest sets the doctrine: operate the instruments, write the scope before the work, charge a fixed monthly price, document everything, and let the client leave on thirty days notice. No agency retainer, no metered hours, no equity-only holdings.

What are Norrhavet's four operating principles?

Compounding over campaigns; operators, not consultants; AI as leverage with craft as the standard; fixed prices with kept promises. Every Norrhavet brand and instrument is held to these four rules, and every engagement is documented against them so clients can hold the group accountable in plain language.

Frequently asked

About the manifest.

Why publish a manifest at all?+

Because the seven convictions decide what we say yes and no to before any contract is signed. Putting them on record protects clients from drift and forces us to keep our own line.

What does 'AI as tool, not replacement' mean?+

AI compresses the work someone does — it does not remove the person. Every Norrhavet output is shipped by a named person who takes responsibility for it; AI is part of the toolchain, never the author.

Why fixed price instead of hourly?+

Hour banks reward slow work and punish good judgement. Fixed price tied to a written outcome aligns us with the result and lets a client predict the cost on day one.

What kind of work does Norrhavet refuse?+

Procurement bake-offs, deck-only retainers, ad-funded growth hacking, and anything that requires hiding the person behind layers of account management.
